Verizon Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update soon

Two Samsung S series phone (Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+) will be receiving new Android 8.0 update, Verizon has made this possible as they have become the first US carrier to push out Android 8.0 Oreo to the LG V30 and Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be the next to receive the update.

Android 8.0 Oreo's main highlights include auto-fill, picture-in-picture, and notification dots, and those are obviously here. Also present are 'App Pair,' a feature that lets you add an icon to your home screen to launch two apps simultaneously, and 'Dual Messenger,' which gives you the ability to use two accounts on the same messaging app.

Additionally, high-contrast keyboards have been added, and the mute and keypad icons have been swapped on the call screen. The update includes the February security patch and carries software version R16NW.G95xUSQU2CRB9.

This is good news coming to those people using Verizon Galaxy S8 and S9+, the new update will start rolling out, at least it has been confirmed in the recent report. So if you're using S8 and S8+ you are the next to receive notification.
