Google announced today as the finally day for Allo users as it's going to be shutdown.

This is absolutely unpalatable news to the folks as Google finally announce today to be the final day for those that will be using Allo app as it's going to be shutting exactly 12:00am today 12th March, don't forget Google has earlier announced it shutting down didn't give exact day. User should not see this as shocking news or whatever as it has been earlier announced.
So if you've been enjoying your chat so far and you don't want to loose it probably you have some important stuff to calve out then do that before the end of today. Google implore it users to switch to another app which was not disclose depending on users choice, suggesting going for Hangout and some other favourites.

Now Google has provided means of retrieving or download your chats and files if needed. All you do is to open Allo, select Settings, and then tap Chat. From there, you can choose "Export messages from chats" to download just your message text or you can select "Export stored media from chats" to grab your photos, videos, and other files. Your messages will be stored in a CSV file while the media will be in a zip file.

On the other hand it seems not cool enough seeing this closing down but nothing can be done, only what you have left is downloading your chats and files and keep what you can on SD card or PC for later retriever.
