Microsoft finally discontinued the push notification service on Windows 7.5 and 8.0

Microsoft has finally act on their former announcement that they will end the production of Windows phone but it seems the turn off will only affect the old version of Windows phone , Windows 7.5 and 8.0 while other higher version keep receiving notification.

Microsoft also said "live tiles will no longer update and the “find my phone” feature will no longer work or function. Microsoft says that since both phones has reached the end of their support, these services are now able to be discontinued over time.

However, users on the Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating system will still receive push notifications but once support comes to end for those devices, it’s likely for Microsoft to as well turn off push notifications for them.

If you are using old Windows version then you are concern with the current issue , the best is to upgrade to latest version.
