Samsung company is working on in-display fingerprint sensor in Galaxy Note9

Samsung company is now working on the implementation of the long awaited technology, which may be coming with Galaxy Note9. In the recent report from Korea Herald that Samsung will not only have fingerprint sensor but it will be embedded inside the main display.

This has being a long term project even though no one know why it has gotten them long time to finalize on that but it seems Samsung has reach the final close on the solution.

“The delay in deciding on the final concept for the Note 9 is due to the work in adopting the in-display fingerprint sensor. A final decision on adoption of the technology will be made by this month.”

Another source was quoted as saying, "There is enough time for the display company to improve the technology to meet the handset maker’s expectations before the launch of the Note 9 in late August,” so even though the tech might not be perfect right now, Samsung could still green-light the decision. He went on to explain that although the location of the Galaxy S9's fingerprint sensor below the camera is better than the S8 and Note8's implementation, putting the fingerprint sensor on the back still robs space that could otherwise be used to put a larger battery in.

Traditionally, the final decisions on flagship phones have been made about five months before their launches, so this timing is about right. In spite of some doubt about how cost-effective and well-implemented these in-display fingerprint sensors will be, confidence levels for this rumor seem high.

We are hoping base on the story released by Samsung, we are hoping to see this feature embedded even though it's counted to be rumour until the released date.
