Skype app now support Android device running Late OS from version 4.0.3

Skype is one of the popular and old app with over 1 billion downloads on playstore. It's one of the old instant messenger app on playstore that allow users to connect to one another via face to face video calling.

Most organization use this platform to hold a meeting online and this has really help in managing time and resource, also risk of travel from one location to another.

Ordinarily Skype app is known to be heavy app but they have come down to low standard for those Android devices running 4.0.3 to 5.1 lollipop, that's a good updates to say.

Base on the report that the updated version will start rolling out soon, the company announced that it will start rolling in the next few days to all users around the world.

The company also said the updated Skype app is “lighter on both disk and memory consumption, allowing for greater speed and better video and audio quality on lower end Android devices, as well as increased performance in challenging network conditions”.

Kudos to Microsoft company for the new update to have considered the low Android versions, at least it will help to save data and increase the smartphone performance.
