Latest WhatsApp 2.18.113 beta version now allow you to send and receive money from friends

WhatsApp is really thinking fast outside the box to edge out others, this is absolutely new features that WhatsApp just included and you could not find on any other instant messenger app.

This new feature at least will help users to settle bill if broke or stranded, how? .This feature allows users to send and receive money to users on their contact list and from Unified Payments Interface (UPI) addresses or via a QR Code. The “Request Money” features sits besides the “Pay Money” option for sending money to contacts.

To request for money from your contacts, go to Settings>>Payment and tap on New Payment, then enter the UPI address or scan a QR code in the next page.

Once done, you will see two options: Request money and Pay money, tap on “Request Money” and enter the amount you wish to request from that particular contact. Request once sent will expire within a period of 24 hours.

Pending requests and the status of those payments will be seen in the Payment Menu that comes under Settings.

Looking at the screenshot closely I noticed that the currency is for India that mean it's not yet available in other countries but very soon it's going to be extended.
