Android 8.0 Oreo update start rolling out to ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom

Finally ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoon start receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update, recently, ASUS rolled out Android update to one ofit popular ZenFone 3 Deluxe and not far from each other another model got Oreo update making two and ZenFone 3 Zoom make it third phone in the lineup.

According to report saying that ZenFone 3 Zoom will still stick to it ZenUI 4.0 for now, the only change that will be made for now is rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo to it.

Details on the update, which carries version number, are relatively sparse. Only three changes are listed under the release notes. Those include a reminder to back your data up to an SD card before updating because Oreo takes up more space, several system apps being removed (MiniMovie, PhotoCollage, Do it Later, and more), and the app drawer is now opened via an upward swipe. On a somewhat related note, ASUS really needs to proofread its update posts; it managed to misspell every single one of the apps above (Minimove, photocollege, do itlater).

Remember each phone receive an update base on the serial numbers so if you are not receiving update early, don't be disturbed is coming to you. You can check your update status under Setting >> About Phone >> System Upgrade to know if your update is available then you can download and install manually.
