Google reveal specs requirement for phone that will be included in the Android Enterprise Recommended program

Google hasn't relent in its effort building wide range of connection with strong, rugged and toughest Android manufacturing companies after launching its Android Enterprise Recommended program.
Android is expected to become the largest rugged OS as said by Google and it has been working towards this ever since hoping to have got there before the end of 2019. 

And just some days ago, Goolg listed some of the company targeting to add tto the program also revaling the requirement needed for any company or phone that will be added to the Android Enterprise program.

Google also made it known the reason for having tough Android phones group so as to easily help the customers to decide which of the device to go for since it has been listed under merit. 

Research has made it known that most customers love going for strong and tough phone maybe due to the work they do or because they want to save unneccessary expenses. So with this they'll be able to decide which phone to buy for thier work.

The requirement for any phone that will be added to Android Enterprise Recmmended program includes;
  • Android 7.0 or higher
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB of storage
  • 1.1GHz processor speed
  • 32-bit architecture
  • IP64 water and dust resistance
  • MIL-STD-810G or IEC 62-2-32 drop test integrity, 4-foot (1.2M) repeated drops to concrete
  • QR code and zero-touch enrollment
  • Camera, Contacts, Downloads, Google, Messaging, Dialer, Play Store, Settings, EMM apps
  • Devices must adhere to Provisioning UX Workflows
  • 90-day security updates, available for five years from the launch date of the device
  • Support current shipping release and one letter upgrade
  • Future dessert upgrades, including carrier certification, must be available to all Enterprise Recommended devices within 18 months of the board support package (BSP) drop
Also be reminded as said earlier Google is working towards adding more standard toughest and rugged Android phone companies to the group, the five different companies includes;
  • Zebra TC20, TC 25, TC51, TC56, TC70X and TC75X
  • Honeywell CT40, CT60 and CN80
  • Sonim XP8
  • Point Mobile PM45
  • Datalogic Memor 10 (launching in October)
It seems all effort is working out as planned and hoping to have large house by 2019 reportedly by Google.
